Sometimes in my spare time, I like to plan out my future homes. It just gives me a little extra boost of inspiration for what I want in life. Depending on my mood, I go back and forth between my two favorite styles of interior decor. In a way, they both kind of represent the two very different sides of me.

The Brick Wall Apartment: If you know me, then you know that I love New York City. I was born in the city and lived there before my family moved to Canada. There's just something about New York. I love the fast pace and it just makes you want to be successful. I think every girl at some point, imagines playing the whole Sex and the City role. I feel like when you're young, you almost need the city to give you that push and competitive edge. It's the main reason that I was really torn between my law school choices earlier this year. I just craved the city so badly and even though I ended up going in a different direction, I still love it. I doubt that will ever change.

Coastal Chic Living: I guess this is the more relaxed and subtle part of me. I also like to be alone a lot of the time. I like to read and blog (obviously). The beach setting is just the perfect environment for all of that. It's beautiful and serene. It's a chance to get away and restore yourself. This is where I ended up going for school. I'm hoping it will provide a more positive and less stressful environment for me, so cross your fingers. It's soft and sweet and a strong contrast from the hustle and bustle of New York City.

  1. I'd love to live in the top left room! It's a beautiful design and I really like how it lets the sunlight in :) Great blog by the way, I'm now a follower!

  2. The top left room is definitely still my favorite :) thank you for the comment and follow .. I will definitely check out your blog as well.
