When I go to a bookstore, I never actually go with any specific book in mind. It's almost always a spontaneous trip. Yesterday (since it's technically morning now), before I met up with a friend to attend a concert, I stopped by Indigo to find myself a new read. It can be a bit overwhelming, when you don't know what you're looking for, but I have my own little technique. It's easy, really. I just head to the bestsellers and to Heather's Picks. Now I'll admit, some of Heather's Picks have not been up to par with mine, but overall, it's a pretty good strategy. I saw this book in the bestsellers, so I decided to give it a try. Anyone that knows me, knows that I love love love Harry Potter, so I figure, it's a bit unfair that I've never given any of J.K. Rowling's newer books a try. She is no doubt a phenomenal author and I am curious to see how she demonstrates that in her non magical stories. I'm really excited to start this book and I sincerely hope that I find it to be as great as so many others do. I will definitely do a follow up post to let you all know how I find the book and a little bit more about the plot (not including any spoilers of course).
I've heard so many good things about this book :) Looking forward to hearing your thoughts!
