Wind Down

Sometimes when I've had a long day, even if I know that I'm exhausted it can still be really difficult for me to actually stop and just call it a day. I've always been like this and a lot of the time it's not even that I'm still working on anything. I'll just be there in bed going through my phone, playing on the IPad or just channel surfing. Well, I've come to the realization that it's just a lot healthier to actually throw in the towel when my body is telling me to. One thing that really helps with this is evening tea.

I went on a bit of a tea haul this afternoon and picked up a few of my favorite ones. In case you couldn't tell, I really really love vanilla. When it comes to scents, teas or anything ... vanilla can just do no wrong in my eyes. I picked up a sleepytime vanilla tea and it was so delicious with just a little bit of milk. It really is just the perfect way to wind down after a long day of studying. Of course, a gorgeous sunset doesn't hurt either. Now, if you'll excuse me ... it's time for me to call it a night.

  1. I love tea. I stick to chai, peppermint, and of course, green but that sleepytime vanilla sounds AMAZING!

    1. I love chai !! Vanilla chai is my fave ! but like I said, I'm down for anything vanilla lol

  2. I love tea as well and it also helps me wind down when I have trouble. I've never tried chai, but I LOVE earl grey tea and I swear it relaxes me.

That view is simply amazing. You really have an awesome place. If I had a view like that, I'm sure I'd spend most of my evenings and nights there. Unfortunately, the view from my balcony is the road and very expressive and inconsiderate neighbors. WOMP!

I also want to see how milk tastes in tea. Everyone swears by it.

    1. Yes, I'm pretty lucky to have this view, but people watching can be fun sometimes ! I have to try earl grey ... One of my friends started me off on Chai tea and I never really strayed from it

I love reading your comments and I always make an effort to respond to each and every one of them :)
