Jacket: The Limited, Top: Forever 21, Skirt: Forever 21, Bag: Zara, Shoes: Zara, Watch: Michael Kors
As you know, it's OCI season for law schools right now. This means back-to-back interviews and a whole lot of ... corporate apparel. To be honest, I used to hate suits and the idea of wearing suits. Whenever I would wear one, it just didn't feel right because I never felt like myself. It was strange at first, but now I feel so so comfortable! I definitely feel a lot more official in a suit and it always helps when all of your peers are rocking it as well.
One thing that I did struggle with early on was finding nice and affordable pieces that I could wear to interviews and networking events. I ended up splurging on a nice pant suit from The Limited. I still feel that blazers/jackets should be a bit of a splurge, but I've noticed that with bottoms, it's often okay to go a cheaper route. I just try to find pieces that compliment my nicer tops and I definitely try to keep the two shades as similar as possible.
flaca, flaca.

DeleteI always go into The Limited and want to purchase something but I have nowhere to wear it formally. I love that bag!
ReplyDeleteThank you ! literally i only started shopping there because I needed a suit for law school events/interviews. It is a great place for necessary business clothes, but you're right, if you don't need it you're better off shopping elsewhere :)
DeleteGood luck! You look great.
ReplyDeletethank you :)
DeleteBut if you really must engage into a debate because you're certain that you know it better, check the facts before you start the discussion. You don't want to embarrass yourself when your lawyer proves you wrong.http://www.immigrationway.com/
